SYF Cheer has been growing exponentially over the years! While we love the growth and interest in cheer, there are only a limited number of spots available at each grade level’s cheer squad. The number of cheer squads are directly correlated to the number of football teams for any given season. For the past several seasons, we have had waitlists at each grade level hours after registration opens. In order to fairly fill the available spots on each squad, SYF Cheer will be holding tryouts for all children grades 1-6 that wish to cheer on Saturday squads for the 2024 season.
Tryouts are mandatory for all cheerleaders in all grades that wish to cheer on Saturday squads for the SYF season. Please continue reading for more information regarding tryouts.
